We all know one of the best parts of a wedding, has nothing to do with the actual big day. A timeless tradition, a right of bridal passage – the bachelorette party! Enjoying it? Simple! Planning it? Not so much.

Where do you even start?! It can be so overwhelming trying to plan the perfect send off for your favourite bride to be. Good news, we are here to help! We have curated four different bachelorette parties, for four different styles of brides and we guarantee that you’ll find one that fits her and the squad. Our party ideas include all things local, this way you can have an unforgettable time without totally breaking the bank!

Are you the low key type of Bride?

This bachelorette party is best for the bride who doesn’t really want to do anything big. Start the day off right with an I Love You a Brunch. We suggest grabbing a table at Toscana Windsor or hosting a cozy PJ morning right at home filled with mimosas and some Plant Joy donuts!

Follow brunch with a day of rest and pampering at Pure Day Spa. Trust us, all the girls will love a good manicure, pedicure or massage! Plus its a great way to forget about some wedding stress for the afternoon!

Cap the evening off with a delicious dinner at Spago’s Caesars location and of course a little wine. Or try Neros for a fabulous meal, and then head to a show at the Colesseum or even down to the casino for a little fun.

Are you the looking-for-a-party kind of Bride?

Brides just wanna have fun, right!? For the party bride we suggest making it a whole night event. Check out some local AirBNB’s or even getting a cottage on the water around the Kingsville area!

For the daytime, rent a limo and put together a playlist of everyone’s favourite party songs. Whether you love wine, or beer, or perhaps go straight for the shots, Windsor-Essex is sure to have a little bit of something for everyone. Map out the perfect bachelorette crawl, with some great wineries, breweries and certainly Wolfhead Distillery. At the end of the night have the limo drop you off at your rental and keep the fun going with your girls into the late hours. We highly recommend packing some Advil for the next morning!

Looking for an adventure kind of Bride?

If the bride is one to not thoroughly enjoy sitting still for too long, or loves the outdoors then this bachelorette party will be just perfect for her! It’s a day full of fun activities that will keep the whole bride-tribe busy! We suggest going right to Urban Surf Co. located in beautiful Tecumseh for a morning paddle.

Start the afternoon on rented bikes and peddle through the many trails Tecumseh has to offer. Refuel at Frank Brewing Co. with a cold flight of beer and a tasty bite to eat (their spinach dip is a MUST!).

Finish the incredible day with a bonfire on the beach, laughing with your girls and a surprise picnic full of the bride’s favourite treats.

If the bride loves a new adventure, host a bachelorette party over in Detroit! This way you can all discover a new city, while still being only 20 minutes away from home. Detroit offers so many different activities, restaurants and bars to check out with your bridal party.

We suggest renting an AirBNB right downtown for a night. Our favourite activity is the Detroit HandleBar tour – a rolling BYOB bar that offers you a unique tour of downtown Detroit! When the tour is over, head back to your rental for some rest before dancing the night away in the famous Detroit Z-Belt.

If your bachelorette party is already in the works but you need just a few more ideas to really complete it here is a list of some of our other favourite local activities:

  • Going on a WindsorEats Experience

  • Checking out a local sports game

  • Partying with Aloha Tiki Tours

  • Cooking class with Chef Next Door

  • Charcuterie board making with The Cheese Bar

No matter what you do for your party, we know your I-Do-Crew will have an incredible time! Just remember rule number one: what happens on the bachelorette party, stays on bachelorette party.
