I was fortunate enough to ask Jena a few questions about her business, which she opened in May of 2014.

Jena is a certified Laser Technician and Skin therapist. She has been actively practiced since 2008 at Coral Medical Spa in Windsor. She also has her Natural Health certification. Everyday she is working with the skin and in most cases, she is treating sun damaged and prematurely aging skin. The number one cause of this damage comes from the use of tanning bed and prolonged sun exposure without wearing solar protection.

Best Advice

Exfoliation is so important before your appointment. Dead skin needs to be removed so the tan has a smooth surface to develop on. Moisturizing daily is important as well, and can allow your tan to last even longer. Prep and care instructions are provided upon booking as well.

Fun Fact!

Jena is a “foodie” and loves coffee and wine! She also starts everyday with an early morning sweat - yoga or some cardio at the gym - as it helps her feel more grounded and ready to take on the day!

How the Process Works

A detailed Prep & Post Care Instructions are sent to you once you book, but here are some key points to consider:

It is important to shower and exfoliate your whole body before your appointment
Stay clear of oils, makeup, lotions, and deodorant if possible
Wait 10-12 hours post-tan to shower, as your tan is still developing.
Moisturize! Morning and night, starting after your first shower
